Limited Beta Program

What we're looking for

We're selecting up to 10 games for the first self-serve beta cohort. We're looking for teams who can move, not just teams who are interested.

To be a good fit, you should have:

  • A live game with an active player base. We're testing competition mechanics, not launch strategy, so your game needs players in it today.
  • Prizes worth competing for. They can take any form your community values, and the best ones usually can't be bought. A prize players can't get anywhere else is the promotion.
  • Marketing and community capacity. Someone on your side needs to own promotion, community engagement, and prize fulfillment, with dedicated time for it over the next two months. The platform is the easy part. Reaching your players is the work.
  • A named point of contact. One person we can reach who can make decisions about your competition.

What we expect from participants

To be selected you will need to:

  • Launch within 60 days. You'll run your first competition within 60 days of onboarding. This is the core commitment. The cohort only works if everyone's running in roughly the same window.
  • Provide real feedback. Periodic check-ins with our team and honest input on what's working and what isn't. You're helping us build this.
  • Permission to name you. Selected teams agree we can reference their participation publicly. Nothing about your revenue or player data, just that you're part of the beta.

What you get

  • Attention and engagement. A 30-day window where your players are concentrated on your game: playing, posting, watching, commenting, sharing, and generally having a blast. In past competitions that has meant six figures of hours focused on a single title.
  • A content library you can actually use. Every entry is original video of a player completing the challenge, yours to share. Your best players, doing the hardest things in your game. And nothing means more to them than the studio putting their run in front of everyone. Most teams can't buy this.
  • No integration required. Nothing to build, no SDK, no engineering time. Competitions run entirely outside your game, so your team's effort goes into prizes and promotion rather than a sprint.
  • Full platform access. Full access to the self-serve competition platform, plus our managed services team on hand throughout for setup, troubleshooting, and strategy. Beta competitions support up to 25 prize positions.

How selection works

Applications are reviewed on fit, not order received. Selected teams receive full program terms, including participation cost, before committing to anything.

The application

The form mirrors what we select for. Structured answers help us compare fairly; the written questions are optional, and they are where you make your case.

A live game with an active player base

The beta is for games that need players in them today, not launch strategy.

Platforms Required.
A competition worth verifying

Championships run on feats that are measured, not judged. Tell us what your game can measure.

What can be measured in your game? Required.

Optional. If you already see the competition your community would fight over, tell us. If not, that is what we are for: designing the competition together is part of the beta.

Prizes worth competing for

Prizes can take any form your community values. Prizes players cannot get anywhere else are the promotion.

What could your prize pool include? Required.
Marketing and community capacity

The platform is the easy part. Reaching your players is the work, and someone on your side needs to own it.
